| Dr. Ava Morrow has been involved in the profession of interpreting for the past twenty five years. She has earned certification from the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf, inc. Dr. Morrow earned a B.S. degree in biology from Morgan State University and earned a Master of Science degree and Ph.D. in microbiology from Howard University. Dr. Morrow is a tenured Associate Professor of Biology at Gallaudet University in Washington, DC. She has dedicated 27 years of service to Gallaudet University. Dr. Morrow and her sister Sharon Edwards own and manage a sign language interpreter service called SHARAVA, LLC. Dr. Morrow Specializes in Interpreting at conferences and workshops, as well as interpreting in a religious and performing arts setting. Her education in science is an asset. She is often called upon to interpret as well as present health and science lectures and workshops. Dr. Morrow enjoys being a mentor, consultant, presenter, trainer and educator for sign language interpreters and members of the community. |
