| Jean Plant is a nationally certified interpreter and has been working in this field for over 23 years. Currently she is a full time faculty member of Georgia Perimeter College Sign Language Interpreting Program. She continues to work as a freelance interpreter as much as time will allow her. Jean has presented workshops in Alabama, Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and Washington, D.C., she would love to present in all fifty states before she retires! Jean serves as the President for the GaRID and remains a very active member of the Deaf and Interpreter communities. She serves on numerous committees and attends on average twenty workshops a year. Jean is a firm believer in continuing education -- even before we had the CMP! |
