| Little is known about the profession of interpreting on the continent of Africa. What are the concerns of the Deaf community in Nigeria, what are professional priorities of interpreters in Nigeria and what can NAOBI do to develop a working relationship with our brothers and sisters in the Motherland? This workshop will provide insight to the issues facing interpreters in Nigeria as well as an overview of the proceedings from the World Association of Sign Language Interpreters conference recent held in Segovia, Spain. |
