| The
NAOBI, Inc. 2008 Conference Committee is currently
seeking enthusiastic, hard working, motivated, and
flexible student volunteers to work during our 11th
Annual Professional Development Conference. |
| |
| Student
Representative Applicants: |
- Must be enrolled full time
in an Interpreter Training Program during the
2007 - 2008 academic year
- Must be a NAOBI, Inc. member
in good standing
(NAOBI, Inc. membership applications can be
downloaded from www.naobi.org)

| All
Student Representatives will receive the following: |
- Complimentary conference
registration; workshops, activities, and designated
meals
- Shared lodging
|
| Student
Representative Duties: |
|
Responsibilities may include:
assisting the Student Representative Coordinator,
Interpreter Coordinator, or other Conference Coordinators,
attending workshops, making copies, running errands
or performing other duties as necessary during
the conference.

| Application
Submission Process: |
| The
following items must ALL be submitted as a package
to the Conference Student Representative Coordinator
by Friday, February 1, 2008, for your application
to be considered. Incomplete applications will not
be considered. |
- A letter of interest indicating
why you would like to work as a Student Representative
which includes current contact information (home
address, best phone number to reach you, and
email address).
- Official School transcript
- Two (2) Letters of recommendation
- (1) from a faculty member or administrator
of the IPP/ITP
- (1) from a certified interpreter and or a
member of the Deaf community
