Once again - this year's NAOBI conference was a huge success. The 2004 conference committee did an outstanding job on planning and delivering a great conference. More than 140 participants from all over the United States came out to learn, share, and network.

Conference participants had the opportunity to attend workshops varying in scope, such as, technology, test preparation, linguistics/grammar and much more!!! Click here to see a complete list of conference workshops.

NAOBI members showcased their talents during the entertainment portions of the conference. Keynote speaker, Fred Beam enlightened us with his meaning of "The Spirit, The Essence, The Goal". And the conference would not be complete without the excitement of the auctions. This year's Silent and Live Auctions exceeded $4,600.

At the business meeting, the following members were elected to the NAOBI board :

• Western Regional Representative - Brenda Terry

The conference was supported by a fantastic group of ITP student interns. The students managed the CEU and the course evaluation processes, kept a watchful eye on workshop schedules, and generally ensured that everything ran smoothly.
