Westborough State Hospital's Deaf Unit currently has two part-time openings (20 hour; 2 and 1/2 days ) for interpreters.
We are looking for interpreters with full RID screening, interpreting and transliterating, with several years of experience. Prior mental health and medical interpreting experience highly preferred. Certified legal interpreter would be a bonus. These are excellent positions for experienced interpreters with an interest in mental health interpreting.
Half time work comes with excellent benefits such as health, life, dental and optometry insurance, pro-rated vacation, sick and personal time and free parking.
Salary range is$23,802-$32,530 20 hours a week annually, plus educational differential for Bachelor's Degree or above.
For interpreters who want to have a "base" of a regular job with benefits but who also want to preserve their ability to work freelance, this can be an ideal arrangement. |
