• Associate’s degree in interpreting.
• Considerable knowledge of deaf culture and language.
• Proven proficiency in American Sign Language and using English grammar.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field or completion of an interpreter training program.
• Certification from state or national screening evaluation program.
• Experience interpreting at the post-secondary level

• Occasional evening and weekends, starting salary range $25-$35/per hour, no benefits.
