for Discover Interpreting! |

The National Consortium
of Interpreter Education Centers will be taping
testimonials of interpreters and Deaf consumers
for use in our marketing campaign. Selected testimonials
will appear on the website, DiscoverInterpreting.com
www.discoverinterpreting.com and in Public Service
Announcements promoting interpreting as a career.
Videotaping will be scheduled during the RID Conference.
If you are an ASL-English interpreter, we will ask
you to share about your current interpreting work
and how you got your start in the field. We will
ask you to tell your story in both English and ASL.
If you are a Deaf consumer, we will ask you to share
about your experiences with interpreters.
Your participation will take 30-40 minutes. And
you will receive a Barnes and Nobel gift card as
a thank you.
We are looking for a diverse participant pool representing
all NCIEC regions, an appropriate spread of age
and ethnicity. |
